Along the way to making our book we have been luck enough to run into some pretty epic moments in the surf, from grinding beach breaks in france, to classic Arctic points. Here’s a couple of films and a couple of photo galleries from he first five, more later, and if you want to read the tales and see the sessions in all their glory, grab a book below and help out the plastic project.
North Of The Circle
We headed to The Lofoten Islands in the north of Norway, runs out it s the end point for tonnes of plastic, but as well as this we scored an epic point, and made the below film for O’neill, directed by Mike Cunliffe.
That Slab In Scotland
Few sessions in the British isles end up like this, heavy, sunny, just the right size to feel the slab, and pretty epic. Micah Lester, Nelson Cloarec and Adrian Fernandez De Valderama had a couple of hours of heaven. It wasn’t so good during the whole trip, as documented here by the legendary Sharpy.
This morning was incredible, shifty, hollow empty peaks for miles, it was a nightmare to swim, but the light and girth of some of the little runners made it more than worth it with Micah Lester.
This day was off the scale, in 13 years in Cornwall I hadn’t seen anything quite like it, and between Oli Adams, Ben Skinner and a few local boys, it was even half empty for a large part of the day…
well you say perfect but thats never really the case up there, but the light, the waves, the cold all came together for a brief while with Ian Battrick.
If you’d like to help us, and get all of these session in a beautiful coffee table book, grab a limited edition signed copy below, thank you!
