BOARDS>BBQ>BEERS – OTTER OPEN NIGHT 2018
On the 22nd of June, at 7pm, we will be flinging the workshop doors open and inviting you to come and take a look around, see our surfboards, talk to our team and share stories over some beers and tacos. We’ll be on hand to answer any questions you may have about what we do, why we do it and what we enjoy most about our make-your-own workshop courses, so if you’d like to join us, please let us know via our Eventbrite page (it’s free, but the will help us get an idea of how much food/beer to have ready).
We’ll also have an exhibition, film screening and talk from Tim Nunn, life-long surf photographer and leader of The Plastic Project, to explain and explore the twenty-plus years he’s been swimming in the sea taking photographs and the impactful changes that he has seen. This will be the UK Premiere of Tim’s film, so we’re excited to see it and hear what he has to say!
Last year we had a lovely atmosphere and buzz between the workshop and the barn opposite, where Tim will be speaking and screening his film and we’re hoping for more of the same in a couple of weeks and with our friends from Woodfired Canteen providing the food, it’s lining up to be a memorable night. We’re looking forward to sharing it with you!
Tim has been to some of the furthest corners of our planet and has seen plastic on each and every coastline – this is his story and these images are where it begins.
