Meet our latest ambassador – Tony Plant
What can you say about this Cornishman? Larger than life, full of an infectious enthusiasm for the coast, surf and art; he lives his professional life in the intertidal zone, which makes him the perfect ambassador for The Plastic Project. His art has touched and inspired millions, and whilst he is best known for his drawings on the beaches of Cornwall, he has been flown to Queensland, Bermuda, Spain and very soon Iceland to create temporary forms of art which really bridge art and the environment.
Tony is also an incredible photographer, he edited legendary British Surf Mag, Pit Pilot. He understands the power that art, photography and a passion for the environment can have when it comes to issues like marine litter. Check out Tony’s site here – http://www.tonyplant.co.uk/
