Our Industry Part 6 – O’Neill

They invented the wetsuit for surfing, arguably the most important thing to happen especially for us surfers in northern latitudes. Now they are doing their part in re-using marine litter for clothes. Using the Bionic Yarn system of recovering fibre from plastic to make clothes, O’Neill have a full collection in their Ocean Blue range, although it could be argued that some brands especially in the more mainstream fashion industry do this purely for publicity and do not really back it up with substance. O’Neill, however, have put together a full range. You can check it out here.

You can find out more about Bionic Yarn HERE, and we have been working with O’Neill from a surfing point of view and have some exciting edits coming up with their European team.
