Eight Minutes

Eight minutes, all it took to fill a large carrier bag with plastic, rubber and metal on Little Fistral, a beach that is actually cleaned through the summer months. Pretty shocking really, and this little natural arch may be small on the grand scale of things, but it’s miniature beauty is ruined by the soap bottle wedged beneath it. What’s more, this arch, made of solid rock, will take a lot less time to erode and disappear than it will for the plastic bottle to degrade, something to think about.

The Plastic Project will be moving beyond these shores now into the North Atlantic, it’s a huge project and if you’d like to support raising awareness across Europe you can going these sponsors and become part of the project here.
